Technically speaking...
I should be on break right now. And not posting at all. However, due to some recent developments, my break won't start until after I finish this post.
I know I said I wouldn't take a break until the new navi system was put in, but that's not going to happen. Right now, I've got to take a break. I've come down with some stomach thing so I've been home since the middle of second period.
I basically spent all day drinking water, apple juice, or orange-flavored Gatorade (the water flushes out electrolytes, Gatorade puts them back in). And eating Saltines. Saltine crackers are my new best friends.
So yes, I'm going to go on my two week break now. Even with the navi system not completely done. January is hellish to get through. Dan was supposed to work on that part, but he's busy having a life (and not being sick). I tried working on it today when I wasn't busy being sick and/or watching Dead Like Me.
Unless something serious happens, like the site crashes, or death threats come in, or censorship issues pop up, I don't think I'll be back until the two weeks is completely through. I'm still monitoring the site - all the comments get sent to me as e-mails - so behave with your usual decorum (or recent lack thereof). As of oh, let's say 11:00pm tonight, I will not be posting anything until I return from my break. I wanted to call it a sabbatical, but the dictionary won't let me.
To my fellow admins: Thank you for your increased involvement with the site. If not for you guys, I wouldn't be able to take this much needed break.
To my fellow tangsters: I leave you in the ever capable hands of my fellow administrators. Thanks for your overwhelming support for the site, as seen through your posts, your comments, and your torture of Wikipedia ;-) Continue your posts, your loves, your lives, your tangst. Have fun, be well, and do at least some of your homework.

It's official. "Some stomach thing". "A Heartwrenching Farewell", the signs are all there. Heather is dying. Let's all send her candy...no, scratch that...coffin brochures.
